What is StarCraft II?
StarCraft II is the ultimate in real-time strategy sequel to the hit and the original StarCraft. The game will include three completely distinct and balanced races: the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg, each of which has been reinvented and perfected, along with a number of new units, as well as some new tricks for classical unities .
When does the game?
It is too early to provide an estimate on the release date. As with all Blizzard games, we will take the time to ensure that the game is fun and balanced and that is perfectly polished.
What will differentiate StarCraft StarCraft II?
StarCraft II will work with a new 3D engine which will present beautiful scenery as well as massive units and armies. We will also introduce a number of new units for the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg and some of the classic StarCraft units that return in StarCraft II will have new tricks up their sleeves, making the game has a unique flavor . In addition, Battle.net will develop new and exciting possibilities to enhance online play and competition, while the campaigns will also offer unique aspects for players who enjoy single-player content. In the coming months we will provide more details about these issues.
How many races are in StarCraft II?
In StarCraft II, players will witness the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. Our goal is to ensure that all factions of the game differ from each other even more than in the original Starcraft, maintaining the balance that helped make StarCraft a classic. We will also add new units to each race and we’ll modify some of familiar units returning in StarCraft II. With these design improvements and new features we have planned for the solo and multiplayer games, StarCraft II will offer a next-generation StarCraft experience.
