Metal Gear Solid Impressions Peace Walker June 20, 2010

Before starting with these views on the new game for PSP, I must admit one thing very striking. Curiously, this game then we will go to post, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, not that I really wanted to buy it generated when it was announced. I followed the track, but nothing else, to know what it was. Another Metal Gear game based on the story of Big Boss that you will not contribute much, or so I thought.
But no, the idea that this game went wrong was changing over time. Part of my problem with this game came inherited from the previous MGS for PSP, Portable Ops, which I resisted a lot. Even to this day, I assure you, I try to play it, but I can not resist me … I can not with their controls, or trying to put it to my liking.
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, how he could not be established otherwise by Kojima Productions, began to “fall well playable when it came out the demo. No doubt the game has no such problems for me, is well thought out to play on PSP. Nor was I the only one who should complain at the time, precisely because the controls have changed with respect to Portable Ops for criticism. Now more interesting and manageable, the buttons in their default configuration will be used to operate the camera, and the main action button which will CQC attacks or shoot, is the R.
What must be stressed even more than the controls (which also consist of three different types to set it up as we see it) is the story, which in this case shows how sleeve Outer Heaven Big Boss, after everything that happened in MGS 3. You do not trust governments, and therefore creates its own organization “Sans Frontieres Militaire” (Military Without Borders). Through a series of events that tells us in the very beginning the adventure Snake must battle an army funded by the CIA.
The game itself is based on the premise of short missions, a very logical if we consider that we find a portable video game console. Among these will tell the story through cutscenes “half”, and comment why. These scenes are graphic novel-style instead of getting the game engine. I mean … with aesthetic design, but a picture of quality. The same style reminiscent of Portable Ops, and especially Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel for PSP. These scenes will be playable to press one or two buttons.
But not only have to press buttons on scenes and infiltrate sites will also have to rescue people. And a very peculiar way. We’ll use a rescue system called Fulton, where to transfer the prisoners of war to our “Mother Base.” Also apart from rescuing hostages, we let knocked kidnap soldiers, to join our cause.
One of the greatest graces of Peace Walker is here, because apart from doing missions, we must deal with our base, there having to carry as many people to join us. Because of this we can divide them into different districts that will operate the base: Medical Department, R & D, dining room … and all the soldiers will improve and give logic to the history of the creation of Outer Heaven.
The co-op I could not see anything but over, but we can using Ad-Hoc play with peers to get between the two at the end of each mission.
We must recognize that unlike MGS4, this new release is not worth going hitting shots. You have to be careful, because you really have less weapons and less easy to hide in other games in the series where you could use all sorts of artifacts.
The sound of course is great, as always. Draws attention voices heard words in English with some in Castilian, because we are in Cuban territory. The orchestral music touch feature gives the series the game.
Also note the graphics power, very good, which operates the PSP hardware as expected to be one of the most powerful console catalog.
Finally, we must give credit to Konami to release a game with these features in PSP plot, adapting as we have said the gameplay (short missions optimized controls) to the portability of the console.
Personally I think the best seen on PSP, at least until we see how’s God of War: Ghost of Sparta, and without doubt the best release so far this year for the Sony portable.
Rising, a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 4 June 19, 2010

A few days before the start of the 2010 E3, Hideo Kojima and his team published a special website for the event which saw various animated GIFs with knives everywhere. Rather then speculate about what that means, if he meant Rising Metal Gear Solid or any new game that would be announced at the fair.
Although it really has announced a new Metal Gear, Snake Eater brand new 3D for 3DS Nintendo handheld console, the machetes that were seen in the pictures did not concern him. This was a preamble to the recent developments announced at the E3 about Metal Gear Solid Rising.
The game is a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Situated chronologically between Sons of Liberty and east. The story is about Raiden and the events that explain its change from game to game.
Rising infiltration will touch but, in general, is a game with much more action than before. Raiden’s sword will be used for everything, you can choose the intensity of the cuts, to kill or injure one’s enemies, and interact with the environment clean sword thrust, which explains the animated gifs of the Kojima Productions website . Since we’re talking about Kojima Productions, we will mention another project of the study. SOCOM 4
