Ahh … how nice is to kill someone. And better if accompanied by friends!
Another surprise hit us hard this week. Ubisoft has just announced a multiplayer mode for Assassin’s Creed. Can you imagine running through the streets, jumping rooftops, dodging security guards, all with friends? Bearing in mind that it has sold over six million copies, not at all surprising this item. The developers went even further, and even dared to announce departure date: April 2011.
Ok. Okay. More fun with additional content for Ezio, right? Nothing fancy … But no! When Ubisoft was contacted to provide explanations, one of his representative said: “This announcement relates to a whole new game and not extra content associated with Assassin’s Creed 2. But what?! Does that mean that in a year we’ll be playing Assassin’s Creed 3? Is not it too soon?
It appears that success in game sales climbed nimbly to the head of Ubisoft.
